Noticeable participation of Telekom Srbija at digital2023 conference

A regional conference on trends in telecommunications and the media “digital 2023” was held in Belgrade. The CEO of Telekom Srbija, Vladimir Lučić, also took part in the telecom leaders panel discussion, which traditionally opens the conference, along with other outstanding professionals.

On this occasion, Vladimir Lučić said that five years ago the company had launched a transformation process by building optical infrastructure, further development of the mobile network and investment in production and licensing exclusive feature series and sports content.

“Five years ago we started investing in the development of our company, primarily through the construction of optical infrastructure, where we exceeded 1.4 million customers in big cities, then through the development of the mobile network and content, and we also launched a forceful expansion in an attempt to increase the number of customers, primarily in the sphere of the Internet and television in order to transform our company,” said Lučić at the traditional panel of regional telecommunications leaders.

In order to mark the occasion of the tenth jubilee regional conference #digital2023, an award for the best TV campaign – “25 Years of Telekom Srbija“, was granted to Suzana Berić, the director of the Marketing Communications Department of Telekom Srbija. At this prestigious event where “Digital Awards” are granted for the best works in the sphere of media, telecommunications, marketing, PR, ICT and digital innovations, our company was awarded for the best social networks campaign – “Internet Manners from A to Z”. The award was handed over to Una Zabunov, the head of the Digital Marketing Communications Section.

Multimedia Division Chief Officer Aleksandra Martinović presented an interesting case study entitled „Content is a king, but distribution is a queen“ to conference participants, emphasizing on this occasion the importance of the synergy effect that can be achieved by producing local content and its distribution via flawless services, so that TS Media in some segment can surpass even the global giants.

The conference on trends in the media and ICT industry #digital, organized under the auspices of the Color Media Communications company, has been gathering representatives of the market leaders in these industries from the country and the region already for a decade.
