Mathematical High School grants charter to Telekom Srbija

On the occasion of the anniversary – fifty five years of work of the Mathematical High School in Belgrade, Telekom Srbija was granted a charter as a sign of special gratitude for the long-term support that our company has generously offered to this school of special national importance for more than a decade. The charter was handed to the Company’s CEO, Vladimir Lučić, by the headmistress of the Mathematical High School, Mirjana Katić.

Our company started its cooperation with the Mathematical High School in 2010, by providing it with computer equipment, awarding the best students with smart phones and engaging experts from the company to hold lectures and workshops on the topic of mobile applications. In the ensuing period, we have improved our cooperation with a wish to contribute to the education of students in the sphere of contemporary technologies, through the implementation of mts app competitions, organization of a mathematical and sports camp at Tulba near Požarevac, procurement of licensed software, and primarily by the provision of necessary support for the participation of students at international competitions in mathematics, physics and information science.

Over these fifty five years of the school ‘s existence and operation, the students of this prestigious school have won 661 medals at international, European and Balkan olympic games and over 300 medals at other international competitions. Almost 7,000 students have finished this school so far; some of them work as professors at Belgrade University, and other universities across the globe, and among them are over 500 PhD holders.
