Mtel a.d. Banja Luka

Its core activity includes the provision of telecommunications services in the domain of fixed and mobile telephony in local and international traffic, the Internet and multimedia services.
The Company is also registered for the provision of other telecommunications services, including other fixed telephony services, data transfer, lease of lines, private circuits, services throughout the network area, value added services in the sphere of mobile telephony and add-on services
Telekomunikacije Republike Srpske a.d. (Telekom Srpske a.d. and/or Mtel a.d. Banja Luka) with its seat in Banja Luka, has been the legal successor of JODP for telecommunications of RS since November 2002. Namely, in 2002, pursuant to the Law on Privatisation in Republika Srpska and the Decision of the Government of Republika Srpska, 20% of the state-owned capital of the related legal entity was privatised. By virtue of the Decision of the Basic Court in Banja Luka of 12 December 2002, a change of name to Telekomunikacije RS a.d., Banja Luka was registered as well as the status change through the sale of part of the state-owned capital. On 18 June 2007, after purchasing 65% of the state-owned capital, Telekom Srbija a.d. Beograd officially became the majority owner of the Telekom Srpske a.d. Banja Luka related legal entity.

On 1 February 2010, Mtel a.d. Banja Luka signed a Purchase Agreement for a 49% stake in the business company Mtel d.o.o. Podgorica.

Apart from Mtel d.o.o. Podgorica, the related business entities of Mtel a.d. Banja Luka are also:

  • Logosoft d.o.o. Sarajevo (100% owned by the company) and its subsidiary Mts Sistemi i Integracije d.o.o. Beograd (100% owned by Logosoft d.o.o. Sarajevo),
  • Blicnet d.o.o. Banja Luka (100% owned by the company),
  • Telrad Net d.o.o. Bijeljina (100% owned by the company),
  • Elta - kabel d.o.o. Doboj (100% owned by the company),
  • FINANC d.o.o. Banja Luka (100% owned by the company),
  • MTEL Global d.o.o. Beograd (41% owned by the company).
