Telekom Srbija supports “Meaningful Toys 2026” because the children’s world is bigger than the screen
Within the “Children’s World Is Bigger than the Screen” project the Telekom Srbija company supported the initiative entitled “Meaningful Toys 2026”, implemented by the Yellow Trousers (Žute pantalone) association, aimed at raising awareness of the significance of quality, educational and inclusive play for children’s early development.
Support for this project is a natural follow-up to the socially responsible campaign entitled “Children’s World Is Bigger than the Screen” campaign, through which Telekom Srbija raises awareness of the significance of balanced use of digital devices and creating room for content that encourage development, play, learning and direct interaction. This year’s showcase “Meaningful Toys 2026” promotes socially responsible, educational and inclusive toys as important tools for the development of motoric skills, speech, thinking, emotional and social skills of children.
The sixth edition of the showcase brought together authors, manufacturers, educators, special education experts, cultural institutions, and creative teams who use play to support children’s development and create content tailored to their diverse needs. At a ceremony held at the House of Jevrem Grujić – Muzejčić in Belgrade, the winners of the “Meaningful Toys 2026” awards were announced. A special award for an inclusive toy was presented on behalf of Telekom Srbija by Social Responsibility Section Manager Danijela Simeunović.
By supporting the “Meaningful Toys 2026” project, Telekom Srbija has once again confirmed its commitment to creating a supportive environment for children’s upbringing through socially responsible activities. By the “Children’s World Is Bigger than the Screen” campaign the company continues to create room for dialogue on the importance of balance between digital content and the experiences that are essential for the healthy development of the youngest.
