Yet another success of pupils of Mathematics High School with support of Telekom Srbija

Telekom Srbija has maintained cooperation with the Mathematics High School of Belgrade, a school of special national importance, for more than a decade, through the implementation of the projects mts app competition, the organization of the mathematics camp in the town of Tulba near Požarevac and the support for pupils in their participation in numerous international competitions and knowledge olympiads.

Thus, this year too, the pupils of the Mathematics High School participated in the 17th Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, which, due to the Covid epidemics, was held online.

Gifted high school students once again achieved significant success by winning five gold, one silver and one bronze medals at the competition featuring 1006 contestants,that is, 146 teams of 20 countries.  

The gold medals were won byMiloš Milićev, Uroš Colović andIgor Engi at the mathematics competition, Dušan Beguš at the physics competition and Mateja Vukelić at the computer science competition. The silver medal went to Jovan Bengin at the computer science competition and the bronze medal was received by Petar Samardžić at the physics competition.  

The successful team of pupils was prepared and instructed by Boban Marinković and Ivan Stanić, teachers of the Mathematics High School.

The success achieved by the Mathematics High School students testifies to the fact that investments into education and the development of knowledge of all generations of young people, as the strategic commitment of our company in the field of corporate social responsibility, bring results and make us proud of having contributed to their success through our traditional support this time as well.
