NBA4YU spectacle announces beginning of new NBA League season on Arena Sport
On the occasion of the beginning of a new season of the leading basketball league in the world, the Telekom Srbija group held a spectacular event in Belgrade called NBA4YU. Numerous guests from the world of basketball and business had the chance to feel the magic of the NBA League and become acquainted with the ambitious plans of the Telekom Srbija group and Arena Sport when it comes to the possibilities of watching the NBA League in all the countries of the former Yugoslavia.
Eight live matches per week, over 200 matches per season, All Star weekend and play-off matches are only a part of what awaits viewers of the Arena Sport television, while thanks to the Telekom Srbija group, basketball fans in all countries of the region will be able to enjoy the entire content on their smart phones.
The highlight of the event was a live broadcast of the NBA Studio show which will provide a follow up and analysis of all developments related to NBA League matches within the Arena Sport program. Predrag Ćulibrk, the CEO of Telekom Srbija, Vladimir Lučić, the coordinator for Internet and multimedia of the Telekom Srbija group and Nebojša Žugić, the director of Arena Sport, appeared on the show, and agreed that so far the best offer of NBA content in this region, thanks to the Arena Sport television, would satisfy the needs of all basketball fans and contribute to an even greater popularization of basketball in Serbia and the region.
Apart from them, the NBA studio’s famous host pair Edin Avdić and Nenad Kostić welcomed Nikola Lončar, their future expert consultant, Igor Rakočević, a former NBA player and now the ambassador of the league in Serbia, as well as Ivan Bogunović, a basketball journalist who became a reinforcement of the Arena Sport team.
The spectacular atmosphere of the NBA evening served only as a hint of the feats that will be performed by Jokić, Dončić, Bogdanović, Vučević, Šarić, Bjelica, and the basketball stars from the entire world in the new and the upcoming seasons of the NBA League that will be available to viewers on Arena Sport channels, and a special, all-day NBA TV channel where exclusive matches, news conferences, interviews and other fun facts are broadcast.
