Telekom Srbija Company Becomes General Sponsor of Serbian Shooting Sport Federation
Telekom Srbija CEO Predrag Ćulibrk and the president of the Serbian Shooting Sport Federation, Nenad Putnik signed a sponsorship agreement by which our largest telecommunications company will support the activities of this sports federation over the next two years. Members of the Serbian national team Zorana Arunović, Damir Mikec and Andrea Arsović attended the agreement-signing ceremony held on the premises of Telekom Srbija.
“It is a well-known fact that Telekom Srbija has been supporting sports ever since its establishment, both on the club and national team levels. We are glad that it is partly due to our support that the best Serbian sportsmen bring a large number of medals to their country. Since the government is the majority owner of Telekom Srbija, this is yet another way in which the state supports sports and together we make it possible for our country to present itself in the best light at important sport competitions. We have already become used to our shooters winning medals, especially at the Olympic Games, so we hope this will also be the case in Tokyo in 2020”, said Telekom Srbija CEO Predrag Ćulibrk and wished luck to members of our national team.
“The Serbian Shooting Sport Federation has not had a general sponsor so far so that today is of great, historical importance to us. This is why we are especially glad about the fact that Telekom Srbija has recognized Serbian shooters as sportsmen who will most successfully represent their country and bring it Olympic medals at the new Olympic Games. The two-year cooperation agreement which we signed today is a special guarantee that the Serbian shooters will be able to prepare for all the big competitions before the Olympics in good conditions, which will make us committed to even greater efforts and sport successes”, said Nenad Putnik, the president of the Serbian Shooting Sport Federation.
Rifle shooting is one of the oldest and most trophy-winning Olympic sports in Serbia, and by this sponsorship the Telekom Srbija company wishes to help our sportsmen continue to achieve successes at the Olympic Games, European and world championships, where they have won the best medals cherishing the coat of arms, the flag and the anthem of the Republic of Serbia.
