Son’s Will premiere greeted with ovations
A standing ovation from the audience and a festive red carpet parade marked the premiere of the film “Son’s Will”, directed by Nemanja Ćeranic.
The long-awaited epic adventure absolutely delighted the audience in the packed Blue Hall of the Sava Center.
The film screening was preceded by a red-carpet parade of the cast and crew, where guests greeted the main actors Igor Benčina, Sergej Trifunović, Marta Bjelica and Isidora Simijonović with great applause, as well as the director and creator Nemanja Ćeranić, the creator and screenwriter Strahinja Madžarević, the producer Miloš Avramović and the head of the Multimedia Department of Telekom Srbija, Aleksandra Martinović.
Told in the style of folk epic songs, with a touch of a modern neo-western, the film “Son’s Will” brings us an epic adventure filled with emotion and action.
Different from anything we have seen in domestic production so far, the story takes us to a ruined world, which we get to know through the verses of a mysterious blind gusle player. His epic verses present us with a story about tribes and their desire not to submit to the tyranny of a distant city.
The production company “Regime”, under the leadership of director Miloš Avramović, and Telekom Srbija, which recognized the potential and innovation of this project, are behind this major film blockbuster that conveys strong messages about love, sacrifice and the strength of family ties.
The cast of the film "Son’s Will" also includes Miloš Biković, Jovo Maksić, Petar Benčina, Ivan Vujić, Svetozar Cvetković, Miodrag Radonjić, Zlatan Vidović, Milica Janevski, Aleksandar Đurica, Anita Mančić and many others.
The creative team of this epic adventure inspired by Serbian tradition and set in the distant future includes Aljoša Ćeranic as executive producer, the co-producer Aleksandar Protić, the director of photography Igor Marović, the costume designer Ružica Bukvić, while Damjan Paranosić was in charge of the set design, and Aleksandar Ranđelović composed the music.
The film “Son’s Will“ will be available in all cinemas from November 28th, and distributed by Art Vista.
