mts once again this year declared best mobile network in Serbia

After last year's record result since the benchmarking measurements of mobile network quality are done by RATEL, the Telekom Srbija/mts company has this year scored an even better result and confirmed its leading position on the mobile network market in Serbia.   

In the period from September to November 2020, the Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (RATEL) conducted comparative measurements and an analysis of mobile network quality benchmarks in all three mobile operators in Serbia, i.e. performed a comparative testing of service quality in the mobile networks, from the customers' perspective, by measuring the voice service and data transfer service benchmarks.

Telekom Srbija/mts achieved the best overall result thanks to a significant improvement in the quality of all services, in all categories.

“The Telekom Srbija/mts company recieved this news with pride. This is yet another confirmation that we offer best quality services to our customers, and that our continuous investment in infrastructure gives excellent results. The mts mobile network is now dominant with over 2,800 locations and more than 2,700 3G and 4G mobile base stations installed on these locations. The score of 89.17 out of the total of 100 points places our network among the best mobile networks in Europe. The testing of mobile networks was done in 50 cities and on 10,000 km of roads in Serbia. The measurements included three categories: big cities, smaller cities and roads. During the “drive test measurement”, over 7,000 tests of the voice service and 7,000 sessions for each of the data transfer services were conducted in the network of each operator. The final result was calculated by adding the weights of each of the relevant categories, i.e. services. The service quality that the mobile network operators in Serbia offer to their customers is comparable with the service quality in the EU.
