New episodes of secret service series to premiere on Superstar TV
The long-awaited second season of the detective TV series directed by Predrag Gaga Antonijević – Državni Službenik – will start on Saturday, 10 October, at 9 p.m. The series produced by Telekom Srbija and Film Danas, will bring back an exciting thriller, interwoven with the complicated lives of secret service agents and political turmoil, to the small screen. The twelve new episodes will be first shown on the Superstar channel every weekend, and rerun a week later on Pink television.
In the second season, the story continues a few months after the completion of the first season. This time, the main topic is Internet, cybercrime and the influence of social networks on public opinion. Like in the first season, a lot of attention is paid to the personal dilemmas of the main characters who encounter unexpected and dramatic situations every day.
Državni Službenik has quickly won the hearts of the viewers and set new standards for local TV content. The quality of the series and its popularity throughout the region prove that the projects produced by Telekom Srbija can rival TV hit series in the world. “I am sure that the second season will meet all our expectations and exceed the popularity of the first season”, said Vladimir Lučić, the coordinator for Internet and multimedia of the Telekom Srbija group.
The co-creator and writer of the series is once again Dimitrije Vojnov, while the series is directed by a well-versed team consisting of Miroslav Lekić and Ivan Živković. The filming took almost four months, and was extremely demanding in terms of acting and technical requirements, so the crew is proud of the final result.
“Here comes the new season of Državni Službenik. We are satisfied with the job done and our cooperation with Telekom Srbija. The series is bolstered by new actors, a lot of action and we believe the audience will recognize the quality. We deal with the world and the topics that have not been dealt with in the national series so far. Like our main characters, we always have to be one step ahead of the events”, said Maksa Ćatović, the producer of the series.
The fantastic acting crew consisting of Milan Marić, Nebojša Dugalić, Žarko Laušević, Nenad Jezdić, Aleksandar Berček, Vaja Dujović, Milena Radulović, Marta Bjelica, Ljubomir Bulajić and many others, is joined by Petar Benčina, Nikola Rakočević, Aljoša Vučković, Tanasije Uzunović and Irfan Mensur in the new season. All of them help tell a magnificent story full of twists, sensational action and unexpected victims.
“The relationships between the characters in the new season continue to develop, and the plot and characters become more complex and deeper. The entire crew was truly committed to the work on the series and I think that all of them, including myself, are very excited to see the final result of what we did and hear the reactions of the audience”, said the actor Milan Marić who interprets one of the main characters, agent Lazar.
In the new season, the viewers can expect to see a tense drama and action with a lot of special effects, explosions and pyrotechnics. The story becomes even more complex when it is expanded by dramatic plots, which are the result of activities undertaken by foreign elements during the extraordinary parliamentary elections in the country. The former and present secret service agents will face the sudden rise of a pro-Russian party, mysterious deaths of their former bosses and a general threat to citizens and the state. Will the main characters once again be able to preserve its security? And at what price?
The Državni službenik series will premiere every Saturday and Sunday, at 9 p.m, on the TV Superstar channel, which can be followed by the users of mts TV, cable operator Supernova and satellite television m:SAT TV, as well as the users in the region through m:tel Montenegro and BiH and throughout the world via GO4TV.
