“The Student Companies project is a new and positive experience for me. My role as a mentor was to support students who have excellent ideas, who are ready for challenges and determined to achieve what they had in mind. As adults, we can also learn a lot from this experience”, said Ivana Pantelić from the Technical Division.

Since the role of mentors who come from a business environment is, apart from teachers, also very important for the work of student companies, our colleague Biljana Vuksanović was during the ceremonious part of the event, granted a prestigious award for the best business volunteer among the 120 volunteers included in this project.

“The manner in which my participation in the Student Companies project in the role of a mentor inspired me and affected me on the professional and especially personal level, is an experience that cannot be compared to any other. It is a true celebration of youth entrepreneurship, initiative, energy and enthusiasm which I would wholeheartedly recommend to all the professionals in their filed, as an additional incentive to share their knowledge and experience, because they will receive so much more in return. I am glad that the fantastic ideas of my young student-entrepreneurs whose mentor I was, allowed me to go through all competition stages with them and enjoy this process to the maximum”, said Biljana Vuksanović.

The third award at the national competition was won by Student Company “HidroSol”, which in an automated process deals with the production of green energy by combining hydro and solar energy, from the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering School in Paraćin, while the mentor of this company was our colleague Ivana Stanić from the Strategy and Digital Division.

Students who participated in this project agree that for them this competition was an excellent opportunity to try themselves out in the role of entrepreneurs.

“We carried out our project with the help of mentors from Telekom Srbija who helped us turn our ideas into reality. They were always there for us, answered all our questions and encouraged use to overcome all the problems we encountered”, said Mihajlo Manigodić from the student company “Black Out” from the Zrenjanin High School.
