In August 2021, Društvo za upravljanje alternativnim investicionim fondovima TS Ventures d.o.o. Beograd was incorporated with Telekom Srbija a.d. Beograd as its sole founder and owner of 100% of the share in the company’s share capital.
TS Ventures d.o.o. Beograd will set up and manage the investments of an alternative investment fund of venture capital in the Republic of Serbia.
TS Ventures d.o.o. Beograd will provide Telekom Srbija a.d. Beograd, as the founder and investor, with access to innovative solutions with the aim of strengthening its service portfolio and reinforcing its market position. The said company will offer the Start-up Community of the Republic of Serbia an opportunity to implement technological ideas and thus boost the national economy.
The company is organized as a one-tier and its corporate governance bodies include the General Meeting and manager.
TS VENTURES FOND LLC Belgrade represents the first official Venture Capital Fund in the Republic of Serbia which was founded in accordance with the Law on alternative investment funds. It also represents the first corporate Venture Capital Fund in this part of Europe established with the aim of investing in startups and innovative enterpreneurs which are in the initial phase of development of their businesses and, on the other hand, possess high potential for fast global growth of their business. The Fund of Telekom Srbija a.d. Beograd was modelled after the largest world companies, which will help it ensure, by investing in innovations, further improvement and growth of its business in the forthcoming period.
