ARENA CHANNELS GROUP d.o.o. Beograd is a company that deals with cable telecommunications through the TV channel Arena Sport and is the holder of the right to broadcast sports channels in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Croatia. It was founded in March 2009 under the business name of Društvo za telekomunikacije HD-WIN d.o.o. Beograd.
On July 13, 2011, the Managing Board of Telekom Srbija a.d. Beograd passed the Decision on acceding to HD-WIN d.o.o. Beograd, and on August 2 of the same year, an increase in capital of this company was conducted, whereby it acquired ownership of 51% of the capital of HD-WIN d.o.o. Beograd and management rights.
Based on the contract on the purchase of shares of July 25, 2018, entered into with the previous member – the EIBERMAN INVESTMENTS LIMITED Cyprus company, Telekom Srbija a.d. Beograd acquired ownership of an additional 9% stake, so that since then it has held a total of 60% in the total share capital of HD-WIN d.o.o. Beograd.
Based on the contract on the purchase of shares of 14 May 2019, entered into with the previous member - Mr. Goran Đaković, Telekom Srbija a.d. Beograd acquired ownership of an additional 40% stake, and has since held a total of 100% stake in the total capital of HD-WIN d.o.o. Beograd.
On 9 March 2020, a change of business name of the said company was registered with the Business Registers Agency, so that it now reads ARENA CHANNELS GROUP DRUŠTVO SA OGRANIČENOM ODGOVORNOŠĆU BEOGRAD (abbreviated business name: ARENA CHANNELS GROUP DOO BEOGRAD).
ARENA CHANNELS GROUP d.o.o. Beograd has a 100% share in the capital of HD-WIN ARENA SPORT Zagreb, which has a broadcasting license in the territory of Croatia and a 100% share in the capital of ARENA NEWS CHANNELS d.o.o. Beograd, which is registered for the production and broadcasting of television programmes, and 63.24% share in the capital of MTEL Swiss SA Geneva, which operates in the field of sports media and marketing.
