Plaque for support to activities of Always with Children association
The Always with Children association from Belgrade marked the 30th anniversary of its work by a ceremonious assembly at the Belgrade City Hall at which Charity Plaques were granted to meritorious individuals and companies. On behalf of Telekom Srbija, a Charity Plaque was received by Jelena Đondović, the corporate philanthropy manager.
With a wish to help cancer-stricken children and their families, doctors from the Children’s Ward of the Institute for Oncology and Radiology of Serbia, in cooperation with the parents of the children receiving treatment, founded the association in September 1991.
The aim of the association is improving the conditions and possibilities for treating the children, providing psychological and social support to the entire family to help them overcome the period of treatment, and providing the most up to date conditions at hemato-oncological wards.
Our company continues to support the Always with Children association because we share the same values and think that it is extremely important for us to make a joint contribution to the struggle against this vicious disease.
