Telekom Srbija receives two awards for philantropy

This year, National Giving Day, third in a row, was organized under the motto Serbia without Barriers and was dedicated to solidarity with people with disability and the fight for full accessibility, through the conduct of the activities aimed at eliminating the obstacles and building an infrastructure to facilitate access to information and movement for all - persons with disabilities and elderly people, mothers with children and other citizens.

At a ceremony held in the Jevremovac Botanical Garden, also awarded were prizes to companies and individuals who excelled in philanthropic activities. Minister for Labour, Veteran Affairs and Social Welfare Zoran Đorđević thanked our Company for its commitment and presented us with a Charter for our exceptional contribution during the COVID-19 pandemics. Executive Director of the Serbian Philanthropic Forum Veran Matić awarded us with a Charter for our exceptional contribution to the drive entitled Serbia without Barriers and the development of humanitarianism and philanthropy.

National Giving Day was established at the initiative of the Serbian Philanthropic Forum and was first marked in 2018, or more precisely, on October 9, the day when Mihajlo Pupin, Serbia’s great inventor and philanthropist was born, and under the auspices of the Serbian Prime Minister.
