Another 20 elementary schools to receive information science classrooms from Telekom Srbija

The sixth round of the “We Create Knowledge” project, which the Telekom Srbija company implements in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, has been successfully completed by the selection of 20 new elementary schools to which Telekom Srbija will donate one million dinars each for equipping computer science classrooms. The project was launched in 2017, on the occasion of the 20th birthday of Telekom Srbija, and the new cycle was completed symbolically, on 1 June when the company marked its 25th anniversary. By selecting new schools, the total number of information science classrooms equipped in this campaign reached 120, and the company invested 120 million dollars for this purpose. The list of schools that won the 6th round of the “We Create Knowledge” project can be found at the following link.

Once again, this year, the citizens selected the schools that will receive valuable computer equipment by voting on the company’s official Facebook page mts Tvoj Svet. At the proposal of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, of the 40 elementary schools that need modern equipment, the citizens have chosen 20 by an online vote, 5 from each of the 4 geographical areas throughout Serbia.

By its activities in the “We Create Knowledge” project, Telekom Srbija tries to make it easier for young people to acquire knowledge and follow their classes, with the use of modern information science equipment. In the world of information technologies, they will have the best conditions to develop their skills and acquire knowledge necessary for their future success. Such a significant encouragement was enabled by Telekom Srbija’s program “We Support the Initiators”, which empowers institutions and individuals to launch positive changes in their environment and encourage other members of the community to make such efforts.
