Are the beneficiaries entitled to the shares of the deceased?

If a shareholder has died, his/her legal heirs are entitled to his/her shares. The shares represent the property to be registered as his/her estate in order to be transferred to the beneficiaries on receiving a valid and enforceable decision on inheritance from a competent court. Once a valid and enforceable decision on inheritance has been received, the heirs should refer to a member of the CSD and Clearing House (a broker company or an authorized bank) which is to carry out the activities related to the transfer of shares to the heirs in the records of the CSD and Clearing House.
